Filequo works without an account. We process only the data needed to convert and deliver your files.
The original upload and any converted output are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. They remain available for exactly 30 days from upload and are then made unavailable and deleted automatically. The original is retained for the same period even if conversion fails.
An HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax owner cookie identifies your browser. Each completed job also receives an independent 256-bit opaque download token in its download link. Keep that link private.
We record conversion and download events with server-generated event, request and job IDs, formats, byte sizes, filename, IP address and user-agent context. These records never contain download tokens, encryption keys, file-system paths or file contents.
You do not need an account, and the owner cookie is not used for advertising. You can clear it in your browser at any time; a valid private download link remains usable until its file expires.
